RORC Caribbean 600 Race – 24 to 29 February

‘The Caribbean Fastnet’. A race of approx. 600 miles starting and finishing in Antigua. The course takes us past some stunning islands – St. Kitts, Nevis, St Barths, St. Maarten, Guadeloupe etc. The start is on Monday 24th Feb and we expect to finish in time for the Prize Giving on the Friday evening. Since its inception in 2009 this has become a ‘must do’ race which has attracted many of the world’s top ocean racers.

Cruise round Antigua and neighbouring Islands – 2 to 7 March

Antigua itself boast some beautiful anchorages and harbours. We could also visit Guadeloupe and the Saintes, Montserrat, Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis.

BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival – 30 March to 5 April

The tag line of ‘Warm Water, Hot racing, Cool Parties’ sums it up! It is actually 2 events in 1 starting with the Sailing Festival which in the past has been a race round Tortola on day 1 and a passage race the next day. A day off followed by the Spring Regatta which is 3 days of racing usually using islands as marks rather than buoys. The schedule is not yet finalised so some details may change.

Antigua Sailing Week – 25 April to 1 May

The oldest and perhaps the most prestigious regatta in the Caribbean. It starts with a race round Antigua which is not strictly part of Sailing Week, then 3 days of round the cans racing, a lay day then a further 2 days of racing. Strong winds and sunshine (almost) guaranteed!
